  2. Selection Process:

    1. Selection is based on academic achievements, clinical experience, and interview performance.
    2. The decision of the selection committee is final and non-negotiable.
  3. Program Duration:

    1. The medical residency program typically spans a specified number of years, as determined by the specialty.
    2. Residents are expected to complete all required rotations and training modules within the stipulated timeframe.
  4. Responsibilities of Residents:

    1. Residents must adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
    2. Attendance at all scheduled rotations, lectures, and meetings is mandatory.
    3. Residents must participate actively in patient care, research, and educational activities.
    4. Compliance with all hospital and program policies is required.
  5. Work Hours and On-Call Duties:

    1. Residents must adhere to the prescribed work hours as per the guidelines of the institution.
    2. On-call duties are an integral part of the residency program and are assigned based on the specialty.
  6. Evaluation and Assessment:

    1. Residents will undergo regular evaluations based on clinical performance, professionalism, and academic achievements.
    2. Unsatisfactory performance may result in remediation or termination from the program.
  7. Benefits and Compensation:

    1. Residents may receive stipends, benefits, or compensation as per the policies of the institution.
    2. Any changes to compensation or benefits will be communicated in advance.
  8. Intellectual Property:

    1. Any research or intellectual property created during the residency program is subject to the policies of the institution.
  9. Confidentiality:

    1. Residents must maintain the confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  10. Grievance Procedure:

    1. Residents have the right to bring forward grievances through the established institutional channels.
  11. Termination:

    1. The program reserves the right to terminate a resident's contract for reasons including but not limited to academic failure, unprofessional conduct, or violation of program policies.
